I downloaded my books before my flight and they played fine the whole time offline. I mean, I was expecting at least some random stop or login issue, but nope, everything just worked. Happy with it.

"Decent value, but I’d love to see more deals"
I’ve had a good experience with audiobooks.com overall. The pricing feels fair enough, especially if you use the monthly credit regularly, but I wouldn’t say it always feels like a bargain. Some titles still seem a little pricey to me, even with the membership. I have noticed discounts here and there, which is nice, but I do wish they came around more often or that there were a few more budget-friendly options. It’s not a bad service at all, just something I think could be a bit better

I was expecting it to maybe be a hassle, but canceling was actually easy. No real drama or back-and-forth, at least in my experience.

I had a problem with my account and reached out to support. From what I remember, they did eventually get back to me and sorted it out, but it definitely took longer than I was expecting. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, just a bit frustrating when you’re waiting on an answer. The site itself seems fine overall, but based on that experience, the support response time could be better.

The charges were really clear, and there weren’t any random surprise fees tacked on. it felt like a small win to open the bill and not have to call anyone or hunt through the fine print...

"Super easy to manage my account"
I needed to update my payment info and tweak a couple account settings, it was WAY easier than I expected. Nothing felt confusing or buried in weird menus. I was also able to check my membership details and credits without clicking around forever, which I really appreciated. It’s just nice when a site lets you handle your stuff QUICKLY with no hassle. No issues so far, 5 stars from me.

I’ve been using audiobooks.com for a bit, and it’s okay overall, but the monthly price feels kind of high for what you actually get. The selection is good, and I’ve found a few titles I liked, but I’m not sure it’s something I’d keep paying for every single month

"Works on everything I use, no hassle"
I’ve been using audiobooks.com on my iPhone, an old Android tablet, and sometimes my laptop, and it’s been really smooth so far. It picks up where I left off even when I switch over to something else, which is the kind of thing I appreciate more than I expected.
I haven’t had to mess with any weird setup or syncing issues, and that’s mostly what I care about. Whether I’m listening in the car or just around the house, it makes it easy. Definitely 5 stars from me

"Works okay, but feels clunky at times"
The app does what I need for the most part, but navigating around can feel a little awkward sometimes. I haven’t used every feature, so maybe I’m missing something, but it wasn’t super intuitive for me.

"Refund took a little while, but it came through"
I was a bit worried at first because the refund took longer than I expected, and I kept checking to make sure everything was okay. Thankfully, it did come through in the end, so that was a relief

"Nice to save credits for later"
I like that I can hang onto my credits and use them when I’m actually ready, instead of feeling rushed to pick a book right away. I’m usually a little skeptical of customer service with these kinds of things, so it’s nice that the credit system just works the way I need it to without having to contact anyone.

"Pretty decent, but a little glitchy"
Overall, the audio’s fine. Voices come through clear enough, so no big complaint there. But the playback has randomly paused on me a few times, and once it completely lost my spot. Annoying. I still use it, and it’s not awful or anything, but I definitely wish it felt a bit more stable. Meh

"Free trial was fine, but I felt a bit brushed off"
I gave Audiobooks.com a try with the free trial, and signing up was straightforward. I found a couple of books I was interested in, and the app worked okay most of the time, so it wasn’t a bad experience overall.
That said, the selection wasn’t great for some of the titles I wanted, and canceling took longer than it should have. I also kind of felt dismissed when I was trying to figure things out, like it was just on me to dig around for answers. Not terrible, but not amazing either. Maybe it’s worth it if you listen a lot, but I’m not sure I’d pay full price.

I found pretty much everything I was looking for. There are tons of books to pick from, and it was easy to browse around.
